Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival in Casablanca

When you arrive in Casablanca, you’ll be picked up from the airport or your hotel, kicking off your Morocco tour from Casablanca, Casablanca is the largest city in the country and one of its main economic centers, known for its modern architecture and rich history. Your first stop is the impressive Hassan II Mosque, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

After lunch, you’ll explore other main attractions like Mohammed V Square, Rick’s Café, and the Corniche, which offers great views and lively cafes. Spend the night in a hotel in Casablanca.

Day 2:Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Travel north along the Atlantic coastline toward Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of its imperial cities. Here, you will visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the charming Kasbah of the Oudayas, overlooking the river and ocean.

After lunch, continue north through the countryside and the town of Ouazzane toward Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Known for its blue-and-white architecture, the city offers a peaceful atmosphere and artistic charm. Overnight stay in a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 3:Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes

Enjoy a relaxed morning wandering through Chefchaouen’s blue alleys before heading south to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue to Meknes, the former Ismaili capital, where you will explore landmarks such as Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, Sahrij Souani basin, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. In the late afternoon, drive to Fes and settle into a traditional riad for the night.

Day 4:Fes Guided Sightseeing Tour

Your full-day guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital, begins with a panoramic drive, stopping at the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish Quarter, and Borj Sud, which offers great views of the old city. 

You’ll also visit a traditional ceramic workshop and explore the UNESCO-listed Fes Medina on foot with a local guide. Visit key sights like Al Attarine Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University and Mosque, and the Chouara Tanneries. Return to your riad for relaxation.

Day 5:Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Leave Fes and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its Swiss-style architecture and cool climate, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you can spot Barbary macaques, and have lunch in Midelt. 

In the afternoon, drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm trees and oasis views. Arrive in Merzouga and join a camel ride across the golden dunes of the Sahara. Watch the sunset from a high dune and sleep in a luxury desert camp with Berber music and starry skies.

Day 6:Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake early to witness sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by breakfast at camp. Return to Merzouga by camel and continue west to Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet and a vibrant trading center with a traditional souk.

Continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, then travel through palm-filled villages to the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls frame a flowing river. After lunch and free time, continue to Dades Valley, stopping at the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations and scenic viewpoints. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 7:Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Travel through Kalaat M’Gouna, known for its rose products and annual Rose Festival. Continue through the palm groves of Skoura toward Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert. Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous filming location. 

Day 8:Marrakech – Casablanca

Head back north through scenic routes to Casablanca, enjoying the views along the way. Transfer to Casablanca Airport, ending your 8 days Morocco tour from Casablanca.
