Depart Marrakech and head south across the High Atlas Mountains. The road climbs through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering panoramic views of mountain villages, terraced fields, and winding valleys.

Your first major stop is the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its earthen architecture and cinematic history. After free time to explore and enjoy lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara and Morocco’s film capital.

Passing through the palm groves of Skoura and the fragrant Rose Valley, the landscape gradually changes as you travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. By late afternoon, arrive in the Dades Valley, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 3:Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Tinghir – Merzouga

Continue toward the impressive Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural sites. Towering canyon walls rise hundreds of meters above the river, creating a breathtaking setting for a short walk and photos.

After lunch along the route, travel through the towns of Tinjdad and Erfoud, entering the vast desert region of southeastern Morocco. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Ride a camel and set off on a journey into the desert, stopping along the way to watch the sunset paint the dunes in golden hues. Upon arrival at your desert camp, enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and an unforgettable night under the Sahara stars.

After breakfast, return to Merzouga village by camel or 4×4 vehicle.Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga region by four-wheel drive. Visit desert oases, seasonal lakes, fossil-rich areas, and the village of Khamlia, where you’ll experience the rhythms of traditional Gnawa music.
