Itinerary

Your 4 days Casablanca to Marrakech desert adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Casablanca. Begin your journey by exploring Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. Stroll through the Old Kasbah of the Udayas, admire the towering Hassan Tower, and enjoy the royal ambiance of the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.

Next, continue to Meknes, an imperial city steeped in history. Discover architectural marvels including Bab El Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and Sahrij Souani. After lunch in Meknes, travel onward to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual hub. Upon arrival, check into your riad or hotel and relax, preparing for the exciting days ahead. Overnight in Fes.

Day 2:Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Depart Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing charming Berber villages along the way. Stop in Ifrane, often called Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” known for its alpine architecture, tidy streets, and nearby ski resorts.

Continue to Azrou, home to the famous cedar forest where Barbary monkeys roam freely, a rare wildlife encounter. Pause in Midelt for a refreshing lunch amid scenic mountain landscapes. Drive further south through Erfoud, a town celebrated for its fossils and annual date festival, and traverse the Ziz Valley, a lush oasis offering panoramic photo opportunities.

By late afternoon, arrive at Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Mount your camel for a stunning sunset trek across the dunes, experiencing the tranquility of the Sahara. Sleep under the vast, star-filled desert sky for a truly magical night.

Day 3:Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Today is a perfect blend of culture and nature. Return to the desert village by camel or 4×4 and meet your driver to continue the journey westward.

Stop at the weekly market of Rissani (if your visit coincides with market day) to experience authentic Saharan commerce. Travel through small Berber villages such as Touroug, Tinjdad, and Tinghir, where life flows at a traditional pace. Arrive at the Todra Gorge, where limestone cliffs soar up to 300 meters, offering spectacular hiking and photography opportunities.

After lunch, drive through the scenic Dades Valley, famed for its dramatic landscapes of winding roads and rocky cliffs. Spend the evening in a comfortable hotel or riad, enjoying the serenity of this stunning valley.

Day 4:Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

On your final day, journey through the fragrant Rose Valley of Kalaat M’Gouna and the lush Skoura Palm Grove, stopping at Kasbah Taourirte and optional film studios in Ouarzazate, known as Morocco’s Hollywood.

Continue to the legendary Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring its centuries-old ksar with its mud-brick towers and narrow alleys. Many famous films, including Gladiator and The Mummy, were shot here. Enjoy free time for lunch and photography.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, taking in panoramic views of mountains, valleys, and remote Berber villages. Descend into Marrakech and arrive by late afternoon or evening, completing your memorable 4 Days Casablanca Sahara Tour. Transfer to your hotel or riad and reflect on the incredible landscapes, culture, and desert magic you’ve experienced.
